High Strength Heat Treated Steel
3/4 inch (19mm) pellet die sets are some of the most common sizes found around the lab. The size of the pellet makes them easy to handle around the lab and typically contains a manageable 3-12 g of powder depending on the material density.
This die is made of hardened D2 tool steel (Rockwell hardness >C60) for long lasting trouble free performance. Sleeve is polished to high tolerances to allow the hardened tool steel plunger to slide through perfectly. Plunger and spacers are made from high yield strength steel, machined and polished to high tolerance for the perfect fit. Interior surfaces ground to mirror-like finish.
Video below is of a 20mm die set. The 3/4 inch (19mm) set is identical (except it has a 3/4 inch inner diameter).
