Low profile dies designed to fit into small press and built to withstand comparatively high loading. If you have a large gap in your press, are compressing under normal loads or are making tall pellets then you probably need a standard height die. If you have a small press then you might find these low profile dies very handy!

The base plate and plunger have a thicker taper to provide reduce buckling stresses and the high strength stainless steel provided mean these can be loaded around 50% more than standard tool steel dies (check out the recommended and max loading for each on the respective product page).

The ejector "prongs" on these small dies is build into the die sleeve itself. When using the die, these slide into the base plate. To remove the pellet after pressing, simply remove the base plate, the prongs sit against the press plate and you can push the pellet through the die sleeve with the plunger so that is can be easily retrieved.

Each piece in our quality powder pellet press die sets are designed, machined and precision ground for simple, easy, reliable powder pressing. The carefully chosen steels for our powder press dies are heat treated for maximum hardness and strength, permitting reliable and repeatable long term performance.

Each Low Profile Die Set includes and 1x Die Sleeve, 1x Plunger rod, 1x Base Plate

Every one of our pellet dies are made to high tolerances to allow the pieces to slide within one another without allowing the powder to escape which would cause the die set to jam up and prevent it from working efficiently. The superior level mirror surface finish of the interior pressing surface and spacers reduce cross contamination and make.
