5/8 inch die sets make pelletsĀ of a nice handleable size for a range of applications and analytical techniques so if you are making a thin bisque of material, a battery electrode or electrolyte to fit in a coin cell or running some annealingĀ treatments experiments, the 5/8 inch pellet die set might be the one for you!
Die made of hardened tool steelĀ (Rockwell hardness >C60)Ā for long lasting trouble free performance. Sleeve is polished to high tolerances to allow the hardened tool steel plunger to slide through perfectly (see ourĀ videos).Ā Plunger and spacers are made from high yield strength steel, machined and polished to high tolerance for the perfect fit.Ā Interior surfaces ground to mirror-likeĀ finish.
